Yamunotri Yatra

The shrine of Yamunotri, situated at an elevation of about 3,235 m is a point of paramount religious importance for Hindus and an essential pilgrimage. Situated in the direction opposite to Gangotri, the road bifurcates from a place called Dharasu, somewhere between Rishikesh-Uttarkashi and goes on to Yamunotri. The shrine can also be visited via Mussoorie and Barkot.

Yamunotri Tour Package (04 Nights & 05 Days)

    Day 01 : Delhi – Rishikesh ( 210 Kms, 05-06 Hrs Drive)
  • Arrive Delhi and transfer to Rishikesh by Road, lunch enroute . On arrival in Rishikesh, Check in Hotel to relax. Evening free or visit for Ganga aarti. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
    Day 02 : Rishikesh – Syanachatti , (240kms /7hrs)
  • Early morning, Drive to Syanachatti via Mussoorie. Enroute bifurcate from main road to Lakahamandal (5kms /one side), visit the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. After darshan drive to your onward destination. Check in Hotel at Syana Chatti. overnight stay at hotel.
    Day 03 : Synachatti – Yamunotri – Syanachtti (12kms drive & 7 Kms trek each side)
  • Drive to Phool Chatti, trek start from here to Yamunotri. Either by walk or by horse or by Doli (At own cost), Arrive yamunotri after taking bath in Jamunabai Kund’s warm water and having “Darshan” of pious “Yamunaji” returning to Hanumanchatti. Later drive back to Syanachatti. Overnight stay at Hotel.
    Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again.
    Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund.
    Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.
    Day 04 : Syanachatti – Rishikesh (240kms/7hrs)
  • Drive back to Rishikesh, Check in Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel
    Day 05: Rishikesh – Delhi (254kms/7hrs)
  • Morning visit Riashikesh/Hardwar Local Sight Seeing. Afternoon drive to Delhi Drop at Railway Station/Airport.
